I am fascinated by the small stories we tell about ourselves and our families and by the things we choose to have around us. Viewed against the vast spread of human experience, each tiny story seems unimportant; but that misses their significance for us as individuals. Sometimes, we use our stories to strengthen our roots and our sense of where we fit. At other times, we use them to break free and re-invent ourselves. My wish for this blog is that it becomes a place to keep the things I value and to share them with anyone who cares to read it.
